Who Are We?
Amanda has been producing events for the last 15 years. In 2017, after receiving a damaged batch of footage, she was introduced to Bethany. After what seemed an impossible feat of tenacity and work, the videos were edited, and a partnership was born.
Amanda and Beth have worked together on countless events with Smashing Media, as well as partnering on personal projects. With Amanda’s technical and event knowledge, and Bethany’s video and project management skills, the Super Dream Team of pland. was born.
While pland. focuses on helping you bring your conferences and workshops online we also offer consultancy and bespoke packages. Be sure to contact us with any questions as we love to help you with any project you may have!
Originally from the US, Amanda spent 10 years in New York City as a Stage and Event Manager. As a life-long fan of theatre and the arts, she developed a love of watching an event or a show come together and being a part of that process.
In 2015, she moved to the United Kingdom and joined the Smashing Media family. Here, she was able to combine her love of events and the technical field producing events across the US and Europe.
As her work developed, her interest and skill in technical broadcasting grew, proving to be very useful in the year 2020 as all things moved online. Now, she’s able to take that knowledge and passion and help others create new experiences online.
At home, Amanda can either be found curled up on the sofa with a good book and her cat Marley or playing a new video game with her husband Greg.

Amanda Annandale
Beth started out as a dancer and performer and was fortunate to travel all over the globe sharing her love for theatre. In between shows she would find herself editing photos and videos of her travels and helping friends with their projects. This grew and grew until she found a true love and talent for video editing. And the rest is history.
Since then Beth took on multiple video editing clients, working with wonderful companies like the team at Smashing Media and more recently editing and producing Explore Explain, a data visualisation podcast and video series. Beth is also an experienced Project Manager with extreme attention to detail to ensure your event is set up smoothly and goes live without a glitch.
She lives in London with her husband and dog Sylvie. In her spare-time Beth can be found singing to anyone who will listen or settling down to watch a good true-crime documentary.
